Duck Eggs have a harder shell than Chicken Eggs

Our eggs are NOT WASHED. They last 3-4 months in the refrigerator after being cleaned and refrigerated. Wait 5 days after you clean and refrigerate to hard boil (this allows the shell to separate from the egg easier). Use a mild non scented soap except for Dawn. Do not soak them. Apple Cider vinegar works well, just don't soak. Use a colander and do a light wash and put them in a bowl or container of your liking and refrigerate.

You are ordering 1 1/2 Dozen of our pastured Duck eggs. Your eggs are NOT REFRIGERATED and packaged in a separate box than your meats when shipped.

Duck Eggs
Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for the review. Duck eggs by nature have a harder shell than chicken eggs! So, yes cracking them is a bit different. The taste is amazing and are great for baking or just eat them like a chicken egg. Regarding the broken eggs, we give you 2 extra eggs in case any break:) I hope that helps out for the next purchase or anyone who is wondering about the shell difference.
