Alligator Tail/ White Meat (Avg. Wt 2 1/2 lbs)
Alligator can be great mix up for a Surf and Turf and save the lobster for the next day or just make some easy gator nuggets for the family!
The texture of white meat is similar to our chicken, its a little more dense but not tough. Could be similar to one of our pork chops or a sirloin steak.
Alligator meat is not a fatty meat.
In Florida alligators get the benefit of a wonderful natural habitat for eating.
1 Quantity = Approx. 2 1/2 lbs per package
Keep Frozen at 0 Degrees Fahrenheit or less.
Remove alligator meat from vacuum package and cover or wrap- Do not thaw product while it's still inside the vacuum seal package.
Thaw under refrigeration that remains the fish temperature at 41 Degrees Fahrenheit or less and use immediately after thawing.
USE within 2 Days of thawing.
Keep raw meat separate from cooked and ready to eat food.
Keep marinated meat in the refrigerator, discard marinade after use.
Meat to be cooked to an internal temperature of 190 Degrees Fahrenheit at it's thickest part.
