Pastured Pork Belly 'Bacon Style Cut' RAW THICK CUT Sliced UNCURED, No Salt, No Sugar
You are ordering based on the total number of approx. 1 lb packages that you would like of our amazing sliced pork belly. We cut it between an 1/8 and 1/4 thickness. In a 1 lb package, there are approx. 7-10 slices
Our RAW Belly is Uncured, unsalted. Not Sugared. NOT Salted, it has NO curing salts, preservatives, nitrites or nitrates, msg or anything - it is not traditional "bacon" IT IS RAW PORK BELLY, sliced like traditional bacon is.
IT is NOT "BACON" as you are used to b/c 'bacon' as it's Standard of Identify according to USDA is salted, cured, sugared, and or smoked, this is none of those!
COOKING: cook in skillet, air fryer, bake it, however you like it - when it is cooking, it will go through a 'funky gray' stage, then turn pink again. This is important to know this, b/c we don't want you to 'freak out' when it does this. It will then come back pink, once cooked to your desired doneness, then salt, sugar, etc as desired.
We don't cook it with temps over medium heat on stove top.
Bake: 350*F 30-40 minutes in med/deep cookie sheet with sides. SAVE the belly fat - it IS AMAZING!!!!
Air Fry on Air Crisp - thawed in 1" pieces is best, so you can stir. 375*F for about 15-20 minutes, depending on doneness desired.
