My Favorite Pasta Dish...with a Twist!
I don't know about you, but I love pasta.
You can make it with just about anything and it's always super delicious. Tonight, I'm making a special dish for my family and friends, and I'm going to show you how I'm making it just a little bit different.
Instead of using beef or pork for my meatballs, I'm actually going to use chicken sliders from Circle C Farm. And they're not just any chicken sliders...they're organic AND free-range! So not only is this dish going to be delicious, but it's also going to be good for you. Here's how I'm making it:
The first thing you need to do is preheat your oven to 350 degrees. While that's heating up, go ahead and start cooking your pasta according to the package directions.
I like to use rotini because it holds the sauce really well, but feel free to use whatever kind you like best. Once your pasta is cooking, it's time to start on the meatballs.
To make them, you'll need:
-1 package of Circle C Farm Chicken Sliders
-1/4 cup bread crumbs
-1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
-1/4 teaspoon onion powder
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Start by mixing all of the ingredients together in a large bowl. Once they're mixed well, start shaping them into small meatballs. You should end up with about 24 meatballs total. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15 minutes, or until they're cooked through.
Once your meatballs are done, go ahead and add them to your pasta. I like to add a little bit of extra sauce too, just for good measure. Give everything a good stir and then serve hot! Top with some grated Parmesan cheese and enjoy!
