CATS: ALWAYS GIVE CATS PET GRIND RAW! These bones should be relatively small and come from a bird (like a chicken or turkey). Small bones help minimize the risk of your cat choking. Small bones are also less likely to become lodged somewhere in a cat's intestinal tract.
Bones are an excellent source of minerals and vitamins, like magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, and calcium. Calcium in particular—which is abundant in raw bones and bone meal—is essential for maintaining the strength and health of your cat's bones and teeth.
DOGS: ALWAYS GIVE DOGS PET GRIND RAW. nutritional raw bone is the kind that a dog can eat as a major source of calcium and phosphorus and should be ground up rather than fed whole. Typically, these are chicken bones (backs, necks, or wings) because, as Becker notes, they are softer and more hollow than other bones
Always check with your vet first.
We have a German Shepherd puppy and a German Shorthaired Pointer and both loved the chicken pet grind the first time they tried it. It’s that something special mixed in their food or as a topper that gets them excited about meals. It’s very clean and doesn’t smell, just looks like ground up meat. It was also good to know our puppy was getting a good source of calcium and nutrients from the ground up bones.
Cats and dogs love this grind. I pair it with the chicken and pork liver for a balanced meal. Happy customers :)
Our dog Lucy is a 6 lb. chiweenie and she loves the pet mix! We cook it up with some steamed vegetables and she eats it right away. When we try to feed her other meat she won't it. So Lucy gives this a 5 star!
